#Kurilpa - 5 Pieces for Piano

This artwork was a spin on my Icons of West End design to suit a collection of piano pieces, composed by Rachel Hocking. I had previously drawn her house and she got in touch about an artwork that celebrated Kurilpa but also included more imagery relevant to South Bank.

At the top, you’ll notice fireworks, the Wheel of Brisbane, the spiral walkway structure with bougainvillaea growing along it have been added.

Down the bottom, you might recognise the now former Bearded Lady (a West End institution for live music), a bicycle, busker and bush turkey.
