#7 West End State School

This is the main building of 4101’s only primary school. It features the classic red bricks of many primary school admin buildings and a green turret-like structure at the very top (which I’ve always wanted to go into). The school has changed so much since I started year 1 here in 2001, with many new buildings added in an attempt to support the huge influx of people (and kids) that have moved into the local catchment over the past few years.

In 2025, the school celebrates its 150th year! The school’s motto is: “We All Smile in the Same Language” and I challenge you to find me a better school motto.
