This house was commissioned by Lizzie for her mum’s 60th birthday. She wasn’t sure what to get her mum and was talking to her friend Rachel (who I also drew a house for!) and she suggested getting in touch with me. She was aware of my work and asked if draw the house her parents bought together, 29 years ago at the time.

She explained that it was the first house that they bought and renovated together, and was Lizzie’s family home for 23 years. Her dad has since passed away, and so this house holds so many special memories, stories and was home to (far too many) parties.
